You’ll build strong fundamentals without feeling overwhelmed.
First things first…
Do you want to learn on acoustic or electric guitar?

Beginner Acoustic Path
Strumming, chords, and core acoustic fundamentals.
Beginner Acoustic Guitar
Let me show you how to play the guitar and have more fun than you ever thought was possible! This 6 hour course which can be streamed and downloaded for life, is designed for the straight beginner that has always wanted to try the guitar!
Beginner Strumming For Beginners
Do you find yourself struggling with strumming rhythms and switching chords as you start your journey on the guitar? You're not alone. This course is designed specifically with the new guitarist in mind.
Acoustic Tricks & Embellishments
This course takes the basic chords and rhythm a beginner would know, and turns them loose into some cool and easy sounding techniques!
Beginner Barre Chords
In this course, I will show you the tried and true methods that I have learned as a guitar teacher to get you playing these chords smoothly and with as much ease as possible.
Beginner Fingerstyle Picking
I really enjoyed putting this course together on beginner finger style acoustic playing. This was a style I was always intimidated by and I kind of avoided it until I unlocked a few easy "Travis Picking" patterns mixed with the basic open chords. Travis picking is a style where your thumb plays a constant bass note pattern usually on two alternating strings. Spending a little time getting a few of these patterns down to where you don't have to think about them, helps unlock that very cool sound where it sounds like two guitars are playing at once. I always found finger style acoustic courses much too advanced to follow along, that's why I made this course, to demystify this really fun style of playing guitar!
Beginner Blues
This course will help you master the 12 bar blues, which is the foundation of blues music, but also integral to understanding rock and even pop music. I'll show you how to play the 12 bar blues including, riffs, rhythms, licks, and various "Turnarounds" which will help you become a better guitar player no matter what style you want to play!
Beginner Electric Path
Riffs, power chords, and core electric fundamentals.
How To Play Electric Guitar For Beginners
In this course, I'm going to teach you everything you need to know to get started playing electric guitar.
Rock Power Chords
My mini course on "Power Chords" is an entry level course introducing you to these awesome but powerful musical devices.
Power chords are typically made up of just 2 notes which strangely makes them sound "bigger" than more complex chords. The "Power" part can really come into play when using distortion on your amp or with a pedal. Also, power chords make up not only the foundation of rock music, but the blues as well, so It's extremely important for you to be able to play and understand them.

Intermediate Path
For players who know the basics and are ready to level up.
If you can play chords and songs and want to understand how everything connects, this path is for you.
This is where guitar starts to make sense:
• the fretboard connects
• solos feel intentional instead of random
• rhythm and lead work together
You don’t need to take every course at once.
Most players move through this path in phases—pulling what they need as things start to click.
Phase 1: Fretboard & Pentatonic Foundations
See the neck clearly and move around with confidence.
5 Shapes of the Pentatonic Scale
Some of the most iconic melodies and solos come from the legendary Pentatonic Scale. In this course I will walk you through the best method to get these important shapes under your fingers. I will show you each form step by step including how they relate to their "roots" and "keys"!
Pentatonic Scale Exercises
Every guitarist wants to be better at soloing, so I put together my most useful and effective pentatonic exercises all in one course. We're going to dive deep into building melodies and phrases, but also improve your left and right hand techniques at the same time. Even better, each exercise can become part of your “couch routine”; something great to run through unplugged while you're watching TV. Run these patterns until you don't even have to think about them anymore!
I have been playing over 25 years and I still practice these to this day.
Intermediate Foundation For Electric Guitar
From mastering the fretboard to exploring advanced chord shapes, arpeggios, Triads and essential licks, each chapter builds upon the last, paving the way for continuous improvement.
